Please read the following before shipping with Dear Logistics, so that nothing comes as a surprise later. We would rather you understood our service completely before deciding. If anything is unclear, call the office on +8801718623197, the hotline on 01756437068, or message us on WhatsApp.
What we do
Dear Logistics is a freight forwarding service. We do not sell goods. You buy from any Chinese shop or supplier yourself — 1688, Taobao, AliExpress, or a factory directly — and send the parcel to our Guangzhou warehouse. We receive it, weigh and measure it, ship it to Bangladesh by air or by sea, clear customs and deliver it to your address.
The price, quality, colour and size of the goods, and your dealings with the supplier, are not our responsibility. Ours begins when the goods reach our warehouse.
Booking and your shipping mark
Each shipment needs its own booking, and each booking carries one item. Booking creates a permanent shipping mark for your account — it never changes, and it is what you write on the carton.
A parcel that reaches the warehouse without a shipping mark, or with the wrong one, cannot be matched to a customer. We cannot take responsibility for goods we cannot identify.
The courier tracking number is required at booking. Without it, a parcel arriving at the warehouse cannot be matched to your booking.
Weight, CBM and charges
The weight and carton dimensions you enter at booking are your own declaration, and the cost shown against them is an estimate — not a final bill.
The final charge is set after the goods reach our warehouse, from the actual weight and actual CBM measured there. Where the declared and actual measurements differ, the actual one applies.
The rate per kg or per CBM depends on the item's category. The rate shown when you book is stored on your booking: a later rate change does not alter it.
The price of the goods, Chinese local courier charges, and courier or transport charges inside Bangladesh are not included in the shipping charge.
Restricted and prohibited items
Nothing prohibited from import by Bangladesh Customs may be sent. Batteries, liquids, cosmetics, medicines, foodstuffs, flammable or magnetic goods and counterfeit branded items must be declared at booking.
Sending such goods without declaring them risks their being held or seized at customs. Neither the value of the goods nor the shipping charge is refundable in that case, and the responsibility rests entirely with the sender.
We reserve the right to refuse suspicious goods at any stage.
Customs and duties
Customs clearance is handled by our team on your behalf — no paperwork and no visits are needed from you.
Applicable duties and taxes are set by the item's category and are payable by the customer. The amount is confirmed with you before delivery.
Transit estimates
The estimated windows for air and sea are shown on the booking form and stored on your booking. They are counted from the day the goods reach our China warehouse, not from the day you ordered from the supplier.
They are estimates, not guarantees. Customs inspection, weather, flight and vessel schedules, and public holidays in both China and Bangladesh can extend them.
Consolidation
Parcels from several suppliers that reach our warehouse within the window shown on your booking can be combined into one shipment, which reduces cost. That window is stated on the booking.
Not every item necessarily arrives together. To take partial delivery before the stated window closes, the full outstanding balance on that booking must be paid.
Delivery
Goods are delivered to the district, city and address given at booking. An incorrect or incomplete address, or a recipient who cannot be reached by phone, may delay delivery and incur an additional courier charge.
Check the condition of the carton when you accept delivery. If it looks torn or damaged, photograph it while the delivery staff are still present — a complaint raised afterwards is far harder to verify.
Loss, damage and compensation
Where goods are lost or damaged while in our custody, compensation is calculated on the shipping charge for that shipment, not on the market value of the goods.
A claim needs the original invoice, the booking number and photographs as evidence, and must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
Compensation does not apply where a supplier sent the wrong goods, where packaging was inadequate, for normal wear, or where goods were held or seized by customs.
Payment
Shipping charges, customs and any other applicable charges are payable against the invoice, before or at delivery. Goods are not released before payment.
Changes to these terms
Dear Logistics reserves the right to change these terms. Changes will be published on this page. Each of your bookings stores the version of the terms in force at the time — a later change does not apply to a booking already made.
